I met Bernie himself in Kingston Ontario while they were doing the pool renovation, I didn’t know that I was actually finally meeting the owner of this company that I already had worked for over a couple years.
Anyway, we hit it off right away. He gave me his phone number and told me the price some work for him – and he told me he’s got lots of work for me. I thought perfect I like this guy.
From that day on our relationship started growing we became closer on a personal level we went together- I remember the first time he invited me to his home in Kitchener and we went together to the Oktoberfest, all dressed up like two German Cowboys.
We had a lot of fun together. He was such a cool intellectual and intelligent guy to be around. He had such a great sense of humour and no matter what situation he was in. He always had something to say and added the touch of humour, and fun to it
We went on several trips together either business or work. I took him to Germany. He met my family. We went together to Oktoberfest. We had so much fun together him and my dad became buddies, and they are actually the same age. He told me how much he loved Germany in particular also the food and I think there was still a little bit of pride of him being German too.
I have so many good memories of him, and I will keep those forever in my heart-❤️ He was a very unique human being and he was just one of a kind in so many ways.Bernie you will be missed 🙌🫶🏻🙏- it was a pleasure to have known you.
